Privacy notice

1. Scope

This Privacy Notice explains how NewsCache LLC (“NewsCache,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information through newscache.net and the NewsCache prelaunch waitlist. It does not govern a future NewsCache API service, which will be offered under separate customer terms when available.

2. Information we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and any information you choose to provide, including your first name, last name, company, intended use case, and notes.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect the form from automated abuse. Turnstile may process technical, browser, and interaction information under Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. NewsCache does not store your IP address, user-agent string, or referrer in its waitlist database.

3. How we use information

We use waitlist information to maintain the waitlist, assess future admissions, contact you about a NewsCache seat or related waitlist update, protect the website from abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations or protect our rights and users.

4. How we disclose information

We do not sell or rent waitlist personal information. We disclose information only to service providers that help operate and secure the website, including Cloudflare for website hosting, serverless processing, database storage, and Turnstile security; when required by law; or as necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

5. Retention

We retain waitlist information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the waitlist, communicate about availability, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations. We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for those purposes. You may request deletion as described below.

6. Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about our processing of your personal information. To make a request or opt out of future waitlist communications, email legal@newscache.net. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

7. International processing and security

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

8. Children

The website and waitlist are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes and contact
